This guide walks you through your journey as a Contributor using Folktale to share your stories and insights. If you've just been invited to join Folktale, this guide will help you accept your invitation, record, and submit your stories.

This guide is for Contributors who have been invited to join a Folktale workspace. It covers:

π What permissions are needed?
- You must have received a Story Invitation from your team.
- You do not need a Folktale accountβjust follow the link in your invitation to begin.
Accepting a Story Invitation
Your Folktale experience begins when you receive a Story Invitation from your team. This invitation includes:
- The type of story youβre asked to share
- The purpose of the story
- The submission deadline
How to accept your invitation
- Open the email or message with your Story Invitation link.
- Click the link to view your invitation details.
- Select Start Recording when you're ready.

Using a Community Link
A Community Link allows you to accept a Story Invitation without needing a direct invite.

Recording and Submitting Your Story
Once you've accepted your Story Invitation, you'll be taken to the Create Your Story page to begin recording.
How to record and submit
- Review the story prompt.
- Tap Record to start your video.
- Stop recording when youβre done.
- Add optional text or captions.
- Tap Submit to complete your story.
