Uploading and Managing Branding Assets

This guide is for Admins who need to upload branding assets to a Folktale workspace

🔑  What permissions are needed?

  • Admin role is required to upload branding assets.
  • Insights Managers can use branding assets but cannot upload them.

What is a Branding Asset?

When creating an invitation or a preset, Admins can select custom branding to feature at the end of the stories that Contributors submit.

If you have a short video file of your program’s branding (often referred to as an end tag or a stinger), you can upload this to Folktale and have it automatically added to the end of every story.

Step One: Go to the Branding Page

  1. Sign in to your Folktale account.
  2. Click on your workspace name in the left navigation panel (desktop) or open the menu and select your workspace name (mobile).
  3. Select Settings from the menu and navigate to the Branding section.

Step Two: Upload Your Assets

Before Uploading:

  • Ensure your file meets the recommended settings for branding assets.

Uploading Steps:

  1. Click on the Upload asset button.
  2. Select the video file from your device.
  3. Click OK to start the upload.

You will see a progress bar indicating the upload status.

Once the upload is complete, the file will be listed under the Upload asset button.

Now, your branding asset will be available for selection when creating new invites.

Step Three: Manage Your Assets

  • Rename an asset by clicking the pencil icon, editing the title, and clicking outside the field to save.
  • Delete an asset by clicking the trash icon.
