Edit Project Settings
Admins can edit project details and manage custom terms and conditions to ensure projects remain relevant and aligned with organizational needs. This guide walks you through updating project settings.

If you manage projects in Folktale, this guide helps you keep project details up to date and ensure the right terms and conditions are in place for contributors.
🔑 What permissions are needed?
- Log in required
- Admin access to Project Settings
Navigating to Project Settings
- On Desktop: Click on your workspace name in the left navigation panel.
- On Mobile: Press the menu button, then select your workspace name.
- Select a project and click Project Settings.
You will now be on the Project Settings page.
Editing Project Details
Admins can modify the following project details:
- Project name, cover image, icon, description, goal, and target completion date.
- Project usage settings.
Managing Automated Captions
- Check or uncheck Generate video caption files automatically in this project to enable or disable automated captions.
- Click Save settings to confirm changes.

Managing Custom Terms and Conditions
Admins can upload, rename, or remove custom terms and conditions documents.
Uploading a Document
- Click Upload document.
- Select a file from your device.
Renaming or Removing a Document
- Click the menu button next to the file.
- Choose Rename or Remove as needed.
