How to Change the Platform’s Language

Folktale is designed to be accessible and inclusive for diverse communities. By offering multiple language options, we ensure that users can navigate the platform comfortably and effectively.

Changing the platform language can help improve usability, enhance understanding, and foster better collaboration across multilingual teams.

Who is this for?

This guide is for all Folktale users who want to change the platform's language to a preferred option.

What permissions are needed?

You must have a Folktale account and be signed in.

Available Languages

Folktale supports the following languages:

  • Arabic
  • English
  • French
  • Russian
  • Spanish
  • Tok Pisin
  • Ukrainian
  • Uzbek

Follow the steps below to change your display language.

Step One: Go to Your Profile Page

  1. Sign in to your Folktale account.
  2. Click on your profile icon at the top right of your screen.
  3. Select Profile to open the Profile page.

Step Two: Change Your Language Preferences

  1. Click on Preferences.
  2. Select your preferred language from the list.
  3. The page will automatically refresh in the selected language.

Note: Changing the platform's language will not affect the language of existing templates.
