Everything you need to know about the Activity Feed
Overview
What is the Activity Feed?
Activity Feed is a shared space where you can view and engage with relevant stories that have been submitted in real time.
When creating an invitation, Insights Managers can decide whether or not contributors can view each other's stories in the Activity Feed.
On the other hand, Contributors can decide whether they want to make their stories visible in the Activity Feed or not when creating a story.
Navigate to the Activity Feed
Once you sign in, you will be taken to the Home page. From there, press on the Activity tab to access the Activity Feed.
What can I do on the Activity Feed?
View relevant stories within the workspace
The Activity Feed displays stories submitted by you and other contributors within the same story invitation in real-time.
To watch a story, you can press on the thumbnail. This will take you to the Story Overview where you can press the play button on the video player.
React to stories
Let your fellow contributors know how their stories make you feel with emojis. You can add Like 👍, Celebrate 👏, Love ❤️, Insightful 💡, and Curious 🤔 reactions to a story.
To add emojis, press on the thumbnail and you'll be taken to the Story Overview. Once there, you can press on multiple emojis to add more than one reaction. Press again on the same emoji to remove your reaction.
Manage stories shown in the Activity Feed
You can control your Activity Feed and keep it relevant to you. If you don't want to see a particular activity item or all related activities, you have the option to opt-out.
Press the menu button under the time stamp of a story and it will show you the option to:
- Stop showing me this activity item
- Stop showing me this and all related activity
Manage tags for the story
Insights Managers and Admins can manage relevant tags to each story, making it easy to find a story that matters the most.
Press on the thumbnail to navigate to the Story Overview and press on the (+) button next to the Workspace tags. This will open a search box where you can type a new tag and add it to the workspace.
