Reacting to Stories

A guide for Admins and Insights Managers to react to the stories submitted

Overview

What are reactions?

The reaction feature allows you to show how you feel about a story by adding emojis directly to the story submitted. You can add Like 👍, Celebrate 👏, Love ❤️, Insightful 💡, and Curious 🤔 reactions to a story.

Why react to a story?

Reacting to a story is a great way to express your feelings and provide feedback to the contributors. When you react to a story, they will receive a notification to check and see your thoughts on the stories they submitted.

Step One: Go to Story Library

Once you sign in, click on your workspace name in the left navigation panel (on desktop) or press the menu button in the top left and press on your workspace name from the panel (on mobile devices).

On desktop On mobile devices

Next, select Story Library and you'll be taken to the Story Library page.

Step Two: Select a story to react

In the Story Library, you will find all the stories submitted by contributors. Select a story to react by clicking on the video thumbnail.

You'll be taken to a new page with more details about the story.

Step Three: Add reactions to the story

Scroll down further and find Reactions under the video.

You can click on multiple emojis to add more than one reaction. Click again on the same emoji to remove your reaction.

Your reaction count will be displayed as solid green while other people’s reaction count will be displayed as a green outline.

What will contributors see?

Once you react to a story, the contributors will get a notification on their bell icon.

They can see who reacted to their story, what emojis are used, and which story is getting reactions.
