A much anticipated feature to make your stories accessible to a wider audience
The ability to connect and understand others through story relies on our shared use of language. Subtitles are one important way to make Folktale stories more accessible for viewers across different languages.
Folktale is excited to announce the launch of the new subtitle editor, empowering you to edit subtitles and add new languages to make your stories accessible to more audiences.
Introducing the Subtitle Editor
For Admins and Insights Managers, the Story Overview page now offers the ability to edit automated subtitles or add translations as new subtitle languages within the Folktale platform.
The new subtitle editor allows for simultaneous editing in multiple languages and features a timeline view that can be scrolled and zoomed to match the video's play position.
Editing subtitle cues is simple with the ability to change text and timing by dragging handles, or add new cues with a simple click of the + icon.
Whether you're starting from scratch or fine-tuning existing subtitles, the new subtitle management system will allow you to include more voices from your world.
To enhance your Folktale experience, over the next few months we'll be rolling out improvements to the organization and navigation of workspaces and projects.
You can expect a more streamlined experience, making it easier to find what you need, when you need it.
