Finding Story Templates
Templates play a key role in improving and refining the invitations provided to Contributors. They help ensure consistency in storytelling while giving Insights Leads a structured approach to the Story Request process. By using templates, teams can align new story requests with previously used formats, making the collection process more efficient and organized.

What is a Story Template?
A story template provides a structured format for storytelling, offering:
- Prompts to guide contributors in sharing their stories.
- Camera directions and shot recommendations for visual storytelling.
- A defined structure to ensure consistency and alignment with data collection goals.
Types of Story Templates
- Global Templates: Pre-made templates available for creating Story Invitations or Story Presets.
- Custom Templates: Templates that you have edited and saved for reuse in your workspace.
Tip: You can customize a template or change its language to better fit your needs.
Navigating to the Templates Page
- On Desktop: Click on your workspace name in the left navigation panel.
- On Mobile: Press the menu button, then select your workspace name.
- Click Templates to access the story templates page.
Viewing Available Templates
- On the Templates page, you will see a list of available templates for collecting stories.
- Use the search bar to find a template by entering keywords related to your topic.
- Click Collect stories using this template to begin using a template.
This will take you to a page where you can create a Story Invitation or a Story Preset using the selected template.
