Order and Review a Supercut

Supercuts are professionally edited videos created by Folktale's technology and team. They serve as a specialized summary video, showcasing the key themes and messages from your storytelling campaign.

📍   Who is this for?

This guide is for Admins looking to review existing Supercuts or order new ones to highlight the impact of their collected stories.

🔑 What permissions are needed?

  • You must be an Admin to order a Supercut.
  • You must be an Admin, Insights Lead, or Viewer to review a Supercut.

Ordering a Supercut

Supercuts are typically discussed and planned during your onboarding process and created once your Contributors have submitted an initial set of stories.

Here are the steps to order a Supercut:

  1. Go to Story Library - Open your workspace's Story Library from the left panel of your Folktale account.
  2. Order a supercut - Click on the Order a supercut at the top of the page. This can only be accessible if you have supercut credit. If you don't, please reach out to support@folktale.io.
  3. Select stories - Select the submitted stories you'd like to include in the supercut by ticking the box at the top of each story. Then click the Use selected stories button at the top of the page
  4. Fill out the Order a supercut form - If you have any additional information or specific requests, please make sure to add them to the Notes section.
  5. Submit the form - Once you're done, click Submit at the bottom of the page. Our team will follow up within 1-2 business days with the supercut delivery timeline.

Reviewing a Supercut

Once your Supercut is ready, follow these steps to review and provide feedback:

  1. Access the Supercut – You will receive a notification when your Supercut is ready. The video will be available in your Story Library.
  2. Watch the video carefully – Ensure it aligns with your campaign’s goals and captures the key themes you want to highlight.
  3. Provide feedback (if needed) – If adjustments are required, communicate specific edits with the Folktale team.
  4. Finalise and share – Once approved, our team will update the final supercut, and you can share your Supercut internally, with stakeholders, or publicly as needed.
